The recent comment by President Trump in regards to stories about Haitians eating cats and geese has been laughed at by the media.  However, a little research shows that it is a genuine possibility that the stories are true.

In Haiti, the practice of Voodoo is widespread.  One of the traditions is the sacrifice of animals.  As part of this sacrifice, the believer will consume the animal that has been killed.  NO particular animal is called for to be killed, but rather, a wide range of them may be offered in the sacrifice.  With all of this said, it is not far-fetched to believe pets in the Springfield, Ohio, area are not being used to satisfy the offering of sacrifice in worshiping Voodoo.  Click the picture to learn more about this subject.
