Stupid is as stupid does.

Remember last December when parts of South Carolina lost electricity around Christmas?  It was determined that it was due to stress on the power grid.  No crap Sherlock!  Duke and Dominion did not have enough generating capacity to supply their customers.  Now, why would that be?  The answer is simple: solar power.  Solar cells cannot supply anywhere near the amount of electricity that the citizens of South Carolina require.

But while South Carolina, in particular, and the United States in general, continue to spend billions of dollars on sources of electricity as unreliable as solar and wind, other countries that have already gone that route are waking up and going back to one of the most dependable make to generate the energy their citizens need, coal.

This is what they are doing:

So how about we learn a lesson from the Germans and return to a reliable energy source that we have over a 300-year supply of, COAL!
