An Empire in Chesterfield County

I have been following developments in the political scene in McBee for a while now, and I have to admit, this town is no longer a democracy but has become a fiefdom.  Here is an investigative report on the current situation in that town and why we must work to change the political landscape there.  https://www.postandcourier.com/uncovered/mcbees-long-fight-for-water-and-power/article_e1fe086c-21da-11ee-83a1-0fe4a2d683fd.html

A Plague on the Landscape

A transformation occurring in Pageland will affect the wallets of all the property taxpayers of Chesterfield County.   Uncontrolled building of high-density Single Family Homes will result in the influx of commuter families from Charlotte.  This influx will result in the need for new schools in the area that the county’s taxpayers must finance.  This is the presentation I gave to the County Council a few months ago 0n the subject.  In its usual manner, it has ignored the subject with prejudice.
