When I moved to South Carolina, I was told that under no circumstances would Blacks vote for anything other than Democrats, or as I like to call them, Demorats. But, it seems that this is no longer true. A few days ago a group of Black Pastors in Greenville endorsed a Republican for an at large seat on the Greenville, SC city council. So if it can happen in Greenville, there is no reason it can not happen in Chesterfield County.
