If you take a quick trip around Chesterfield County, you cannot help but notice that the landscape is being overridden with “Solar Farms.” These are those ugly panels that have replaced the farm and forest areas of our county. With the coming of these “farms,” which grow nothing and produce nowhere near the promised amount of electricity, the second phase of the “green revolution,” the windmill, will undoubtedly appear on the landscape. So I would suggest that the county council do a little homework and learn the true damage these projects will inflict on the citizens of Chesterfield County. It is about time they think of those they serve and not the powers that be.
