End Corporate Welfare!

The State of South Carolina loves to give corporate welfare to companies that do not need it.  One of these companies is Scout Motors.  Scout Motors is a subsidiary of Volkswagen, the largest by-sales automobile manufacturer in the world, and South Carolina gave them $1.3 billion.  Now, Volkswagen wants to be the only manufacturer in the state to be able to sell directly to the public, thereby circumventing the dealership arrangement that all other manufacturers have to subscribe to.
