As most of you know, when creating the Independent Conservative Republican Party of Chesterfield County, South Carolina, we pledged to run the organization for the members, not the state leadership. Further, we promised to run it professionally.
This came to us from the South Carolina State Republican Party. According to Chairman Drew McKissick, running a county meeting is the proper way. After reading this, it seems he stole our format for the organization and is now trying to convince the county chairs that we have it right when it comes to running a political party.
This reminds me of a quote from Oscar Wilde:
“Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness.”
