Wakeup Pageland

I have written before about the overdevelopment that is taking place in Pageland.  As the number of new homes are built, the quality of life in the town is guaranteed to decrease.  The only people who will benefit from this are the land speculators, realtors, and real estate lawyers.  Here is an article I found describing this problem while I was researching other issues facing Chesterfield County. 

To all of my friends in Pageland, wake up and smell the rot that will be your town if you don’t stop it.

Be Careful of What You Ask For

One final article on “green energy” for a while.  Here is a question for you, “what is the true cost of green energy?”

Chesterfield County is blessed with beautiful forests and farms.  The true beauty of nature surrounds us all.  Knowing this, why would we want to bring into the county projects that would bring on the wholesale destruction of those things?  Well, folks, “green energy” can do that.  Here is an interesting little article to educate you on the bad things coming our way if we allow it to happen.

Whenever you hear that a “green energy” project is being proposed for the county, the first question you must ask is, “Why?”  Why would we destroy what we now have in the name of saving the earth?  It just does not make sense at all.
