Yesterday, the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity at the University of North Carolina decided to hold a frat party. The theme of the party? Protect and defend the United States Flag! No, people, it was not a kegger, but precisely the opposite. Despite supposed fellow students throwing water bottles at them and calling them every name in the book, these “brothers” held their ground and refused to let a bunch of communists defile our flag.
To further add insult to this situation, the flag was at half-staff to honor four police officers who had been killed in Charlotte the day before.
Because of the deeds of the Brothers of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity, I now have a reason to believe that the youth of America are not reflective of the actions of the criminals trying to hold our college campuses. I think they are an extreme minority and that the majority of the students are reflective of those men from Pi Kappa Phi.
